The girls and I walked up through the back entrance, as to avoid the red carpet. Which ended up being the right way to go because it showed us where the open bar and food was. Props to Emily for planning the most amazing party food I've ever seen. I mean, who even knew there was such thing as a grilled cheese truck? I had the "Zac and Cheese" which is like eating macaroni and cheese inside of a grilled cheese...pretty much all my dreams in a sandwich. Then there was the dessert table with cupcakes and red velvet whoopie pies...and its LA so let's face it- No one was eating dessert (cut to me trying to juggle my free cocktail, grilled cheese, tater tots, and whoopie pie). I was pretty much in heaven.

As I was stuffing my face with grease I started noticing a lot of people looking familiar. As my mac and cheese high quickly started to fade I realized I was swimming in a sea of reality stars. There was representation from Rock of Love (the bartender of course), to the Bachelor, to Dancing with the stars ( Dang Edita...you tiny girl!). You can always spot reality stars quickly (or anyone trying to be famous) in a crowd because they are looking all around them at all times, trying to see and be seen. I mean, really Juan from the bachelor, you need to bump into my friend Nadine 4 times! 4 Times with only one apology? She's a person, you can't walk through her! You'd think he would be able to maneuver around people easily with his head so high in the air. What a bag-o-tools.

I will say that I was impressed by the one actual celebrity who was there. I was standing next to Adam Levine when the woman standing next to him (turned out to be his aunt but it was still a nice gesture) dropped her grilled cheese sandwich on the ground. He quickly picked it up off the asphalt, handed her his fresh one, and said that he would take hers. Then he proceeded to eat it....gotta love a guy who observes the ten second rule. Well done Adam.
I'm ready for a new blog!! :)
